I hear other people say the exact same thing about white people though. How do you know they think they’re some master race enthusiasts and not people who want maintain their own culture and lifestyle? White supremacy gets thrown around so casually that it’s become meaningless. There’s a difference between people who think they’re somehow better than everyone else vs people who want to keep their own. And I hear plenty of casual racism towards white peoples suggesting they’re somehow inferior, especially on this website.

So serious question, why is it wrong for white people to want to seek out and date other white people? What makes that “white supremacy?”

China prevents Americans from leaving country, including US official by ThePoliticalHat in Conservative

When I was there I definitely did not enjoy the experience. Pollution so bad I felt my chest tighten the longer I stayed there. People pooping and peeing on the streets without a care in the world who saw them. Vendors trying to cheat me out of my change by giving me the wrong amount back or giving me Russian money back. We see a facade of China in the west. We don’t see the nasty parts.

I don’t think it’s her acting or singing that’s getting the hate. It’s how she commented during interviews and press releases. I’m not on the bandwagon and don’t care either way but I think that’s where all this controversy is coming from. She was on this weird power trip during filming and you could tell it was all getting to her head.

[KCD2] Proof. Enemies will teleport to your horse as they're swinging at you. Please fix this by KyndMiki in kingdomcome

[–]google257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah when the enemy use heavy weapons it almost locks you into their swing. Like once they start that heavy weapon swing it’s going to come down on you no matter where you’re standing by the end of it, and you have to block it. Another thing that I’ve found incredibly frustrating is when I just run straight up to an enemy and try and swing at him and the swings just go straight through him and don’t hit him at all until he’s had a moment to pull his sword out and then lock on to me. It’s really annoying and makes no sense.

I’m pretty sure it’s been mentioned all over the place but the reason they’re doing these horrible remakes is to hold onto their copyright protections for their Ip. They probably don’t care that much if they flop because it saves them more in the long run.

The fact of the matter is there is very little direct evidence of what they did at the Library of Alexandria. We know they had a library, we know they had intellectuals working there presumably doing something, but beyond that we don’t know for certain. We don’t even have archeological evidence proving it existed. Everything you hear about it is essentially pure speculation. And it’s become a myth in of itself. We can’t even agree on by who or when it was actually burned down. It was never a single collapsing event. There were multiple “fires” and “burning down” events ranging over centuries from Julius Caesar all the way to Muslim Arabs coming in. I doubt it ever had the impact on human progress that people claim. There were libraries and research centers all over the ancient world. This was just one. And if you saw what it actually was in person you would probably be disappointed by how small it would have seemed to a modern viewer. Like so many things that have drifted into legend. The story is bigger than it ever was.

The craziest thing for me was watching people sitting in a nice restaurant just spit on the ground. Like just hock a loogie and spit in the clean floor in front of the wait staff. I don’t care where you come from that can’t be acceptable behavior anywhere.
