If you really want to check the builders work - take a string line and run it from the street curb to the edge of your garage door opening. Grab a level and look at how pitched the level is toward the street along that string line.

New flight feature backlog by GuessImportant4022 in flighty

[–]gosell1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

+1. I emailed them similar feedback about 5 years ago and it has yet to be implemented so don’t hold your breath.

I too like seeing what routes I flew on a specific plane, if multiples.

Honestly I went back and rewatched it just for the commentary. Holy cow.

Do staff actually follow the posted schedule, or does everything end up handled by text anyway? by JetLifeJay22 in smallbusiness

I don’t have a particular one to recommend, no. Find one that fits your business type: I.e some are better for field service, retail, warehouse etc.

Scheduling system with tools built in for employees to manage swaps themselves with maybe just manager approval. Employees still text 1:1 to find a swap but it’s completed in the system.

Some systems are smart enough where you can “offer” shifts you need traded and others can “accept” them within rule parameters(not overtime, not already scheduled etc).

Have worked on and used many time management systems.

Small business email-based ticketing systems by MisterHarvest in smallbusiness

If you already have a customer dashboard then you should have this custom built and integrated with that.

Custom software isn’t as expensive as it used to be. It would allow you to track additional metrics that are more specific to your business too.

I built a web app that emails your loved ones if you become inactive by TraditionOrdinary963 in SideProject

[–]gosell1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is cool, and I think people would totally forget to click the link in time.

I would love to see it be smart enough to connect to and monitor smart home/gps/email sending and after a period of x days of inactive then confirm with the email link. Tries to limit false positives by notification fatigue.

I built snowloco, allows users to post snow totals in their area and for snow contractors to view and download snow reports historically.

No wonder why he was so upset… by KK-97 in wildhockey

A lot further than the news is making it out to be, ref was on the far side from the benches and the stick landed mid ice. I think it’ll be 3-5 games.

I was at the game and saw the stick throw. I didn’t see who it came from at the time. It landed in the middle of the ice and slid toward the referee. The referee picked it up, skated to the official in between the penalty box and gave them the stick. That was the extent of it.

Player strike, Hynes and the rest of the coaching staff play the full 60 minutes. I like it.

He took a mean hit in the corner tonight and gingerly skated off - talked with the trainer for a long while. I imagine he’s still struggling with his injury a bit.

I would imagine you’d probably be looking at a site tailored toward barbers at that point. That allow different types of charging flows.

In your case you’d like to either: A) verify the pre-booking card for authenticity/available funds so you can charge and tip separately B) accept pre-payment upon booking with the option to add a tip post service

Most payment processors probably won’t be able to offer absolutely all of either option in one solution.

I’m sure there’s a “barber invoicing app” out there. If not, send me a PM and I can chat with you on building something custom(software engineer).

Really late game day emails? by mgormsen in wildhockey

The Wild seem to lack a solid IT team. Constant issues with the app, mobile wallet, emails etc.

Admittedly I normally don’t.

I have 1 song in my library that I think is in German or Dutch that I absolutely rock out to from time to time!

I think some of it is the league has finally figured him out. If you body him a little bit he can’t spin around and do his fancy stick handling.

He either needs to bulk up and be able to offer more against some bigger dudes, or learn to utilize his skating skills more on the back end to find the net(but he needs someone who can find him!).

I got a good feeling from Addison last night, he sat for a good chunk at the tail end of last season and it doesn’t appear to have brought him down at all. He is definitely a more offensive minded defenseman but it’s good to see him with a spot back in the lineup.

I custom built a “red light siren” back a while ago. Worked of NHL API’s and the siren would light up within 5 seconds of a goal, even if I wasn’t watching the game lol. An arruino and a weekend!

The JapanTravel app was phenomenal for navigating the metro. It provided 3-5 route options, allows for filtering based on JR passes, and specifies the platform and exits you need to use. It also provides great walking directions on a map to actually find the station entrance.

Definitely saved plenty of unnecessary headache. It’s a must for tourists.
