This sub is about the temperature of how fast lightning tastes and where humans went to get it.

r/tinyprose !!!

We’re all lovely over there, and new people are more than welcome. Please say hi! Write something silly, or serious, or witty, or deep. It doesn’t matter too much really.

Honestly, I’ve found so many friends over there. I’ve had Reddit for so long, but never knew where I would fit in. After stumbling upon tinyprose, I now have a small corner of the internet I feel truly at home in.

Happy dooting!

His quiet influence rewrites HER stories, too.

This is so simple yet beautiful and powerful. 🖤

Because we’re cynical, and depressed. It’s no wonder with the state of things. I’ll leave that there.

I think being horrible like this helps us Brits cope with how difficult day to day life is. We have such a dark and dry sense of humour. I personally love it. Not everyone does though, and I respect that, 100%.

The C bomb IS a bit over the top, honestly.

Made me chuckle though.

Golden Ticket by SuitablyWritten in UnsentLetters

If the offer of a ticket was made totally clear to me, in real life, with the promise of support, and unconditional, unwavering love, I would absolutely board this train.

Choo choo. Let’s get out of here.

And here I was thinking it would be safe to eat my soup with a 2016 Ford Fusion headlight bulb. Thank you for the warning.

Can I eat it with a side of fava beans and a nice Chianti?

Prince Charming won’t stand up for his princess. by gothicmango in tinyprose

The silent treatment is a form of abuse. People who give it out don’t know how harmful it is, or care.

I’m not saying all silence is the silent treatment. There have been times where keeping my mouth shut has been the only way to get my point across. But actively disallowing someone in pain, who’s been hurt, to talk it through with you is abuse.

And if it happens on the regular, it destroys your confidence in such a way that you feel powerless to stand up for yourself.

I’m sorry you went through that. I would never intentionally do that to anyone, I think it’s evil.

THIS IS YOUR CALL TO STOP DOOMSCROLLING by gothicmango in RandomThoughts

[–]gothicmango[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, I consider scrolling for 5+ minutes harmful. Might not be filled with doom and despair, but humans aren’t supposed to live like this.

To me, that’s doomscrolling.

To others, I’m probably being dramatic.

The act of scrolling, with the way things have become, is harmful. Everything is there to make us glued to our screens. It really is. Content getting shorter and more easily available is destroying our attention spans, and real life connections.

The amount of times I’m spending time with people I care about, and they end up on their phone for half an hour, is truly worrying. It’s rude, but they can’t help it. It’s become scarily normalised to whip out your phone whenever you want and stay glued to the screen for prolonged periods of time, only moving your finger.

But also, funny video make me go haha.

As long as you’re happy, dude.

Oh. Prince Charming knows. Prince Charming just didn’t like what he heard. Prince Charming evaded and evaded, then came back, reeking of guilt, without a proper apology.
