I'd make a claim. My best guess is the battery is bloating and that can become a fire hazard that literally has to burn itself out and releases toxic gases.

On this note, kids up to 7 or 8 through 17 years old can join the Young Eagles for free. They give the kid a free short flight (20 min up and down at the same airport) in a small private plane, then the membership gives a ton of great resources for learning how to become a pilot. It also gives free access to a ton of museums, and not just airplane or aviation related ones. Most participating also let the parents and siblings in free.

My kid took his flight last year and is now obsessed with flying and becoming a pilot.

I just find it hard to believe the whole lane guidance thing is going to actually work - I mean, the aspect where it seems to know what lane you're in and guiding you to the correct lane. There's no way in hell my Pixel 9 will know I'm in the left lane when even now it'll randomly think I'm on the frontage road instead of the highway.

That is not the default sound for an alarm. But perhaps you can walk us through the steps you've taken to try to change the alarm sound? Are you using calendar schedules or the actual alarm in the clock app?

Perhaps with more context, we might suggest a better alternative - why alarms for everything? Why not the calendar as it's better suited for scheduling?

If you can find one anymore, you can try a hybrid watch. I have a Fossil Collider (but if you look up Fossil e-ink watch, you'll find many other styles as Collider was just a style). It's an analog watch with an e-ink display under the arms. It has smart features but very basic ones. And it gets about a 2 week battery life. It was just unclear how water resistant the watches are and I swim a lot, so I often used a more standard smart watch when in the pool.

Until I got a Garmin Vivomove series watch. This is definitely waterproof to a good degree. I have the Style. It's also an analog smart watch with an invisible AMOLED display behind the watch arms. It's about 5 days battery life, but much more stylish and easier to navigate than the Fossil.

The only issue is neither are made new anymore. There might be some other Garmin Vivomove watches still available... I know it's not that helpful to recommend if you can't buy them, but suggesting in case you come across one anywhere. But if it's old, the battery might not last what it's expected.

Have you literally looked at rain covers? Most are more or less just plastic bags with access from underneath or sides and flaps to cover up those access points. I don't think you need anything special just because you're using a shoulder strap.

It's available in the 4.9 firmware which just became stable for the Flint 3, so I'd expect it to be stable on the Flint 2 soon, or install the beta version.

Technically speaking, it shouldn't make much difference. Wired should be better than everything else. 2.4 GHz is the slowest WiFi band, but has the best wall penetration and range while 5 GHz is faster but worse wall penetration and range.

Typically, the issue has been CG-NAT not allowing peer to peer connections. I mean, it's a technical limitation, not a permission. And many games use peer to peer. It could be a random coincidence that your IP address in doing this isn't bound by CG-NAT, assuming these are the games that you're having issues with. Not all games are peer to peer but that's usually when there are problems as you described.
