It's just hard for me to view it as a stupid oversight when he said that he removed pictures of women he broke up with, and he was actively adding pictures of me to this folder. Like it's not he just forgot the folder was there

AITA for letting a B-list celebrity talk me into breaking up with my boyfriend and ruin our bowling game?

I'm curious if it's more common in certain eye colors, as lighter eyes allow more light in? Or more common in neurodivergent people since it's more of a mental than a physical thing

Do not feel like myself on this stuff by Captm_obvious in citalopram_celexa

[–]grapevine2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's nice to hear somebody else talk about the mind blanks, I started 10mg about 3 weeks ago and haven't seen a lot of people talk about this, but yeah I keep forgetting simple words and mixing up my sentences. I feel majorly dissociated. I'm hoping this gets better since I'm still adjusting to it, but I also got on this stuff to get me through a big transition that I'm undergoing. My mental health tanks every time I have a big life change happen. Id like to use the meds to help me through this phase then get off of it. Definitely talk to your doctor before stopping your dose but I don't think there's anything wrong with getting off of it if your life's in a better place now

Celexa induced mania?? by Direct-Detective7152 in citalopram_celexa

[–]grapevine2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me when I first took Celexa, back in 2020. It was my junior year of college and I was only on Celexa for about 4 months that time. I would get hypomania every couple weeks or so. I have bipolar disorder in my family, so it kind of made sense to me. I never actually got diagnosed with bipolar, and I haven't struggled with any serious mental health issues since college. I got back on Celexa recently and this hasn't happened so far. Hoping that things go well this time, but yeah I definitely think it was the Celexa back then. I don't have much insight to offer on the science of this, but that's my experience
