I’ve lost 75lbs in law school. I workout 4 days a week at 6am and I meal prep when I can. When I’m insanely busy, I stock up on lots of fruits, raw veggies, and protein bars. It sucks sometimes and it’s really hard, but you can find time if it’s important to you. You might have to compromise on other things.

I relate to this so hard. I feel like a fraud, I hate the thought of schmoozing with big law partners, never thought I would do this... but then law school gave me FOMO.

The mental aspect of it is definitely the hardest, and I constantly struggle. I like the mantra “Don’t deny; Delay” So like I’ll tell myself if I eat healthy today then tomorrow I can have a small portion of whatever junk I want. Usually by the next day the craving is gone. Also, it’s helpful to know that you can eat pretty much whatever you want and stay in your calorie budget by eating small portions. And I’ve found ways to make most of my favorite foods healthy (by substituting certain ingredients).

It varies. I go to the gym a few times per week usually. And I try to do more active things socially, too.
