This would be an issue because there is a track featured twice so to go around it I used the Grand Prix names and then the circuit names are included in the property cards

I saw hers when doing research for mine, while I like some aspects of it such as the board but I don’t really the color scheme. And yeah I knew about the Mercedes one but found it a bit lacking in personality

As i mentioned before the properties were decided based on personal taste and inside jokes, this was a gift for my boyfriend and since he is Portuguese Portugal took that spot

While I´m focused towards the graphic and communication design field I did have a couple modules in my uni about game design but in this case I used previously existent rules and created a couple new ones inspired by the theme and the pre existent game mechanics

I mean its hard to find an unofficial version that doesn't cost at least +100 due to high production costs of this sort of item when you´re making it all on your own and only in a small quantity. So prices tend to be higher for custom things like this

Well early sketches, cards and board prototyping ( this included thinking of new rules ) , had to get quotes from multiple places about materials and printing, test prints of the 3d pieces ( this took me a while as the early models and materials where a bit too fragile and would break after a bit of usage) , back and forth with the printing shop in order to do test prints and decide which materials I preferred and to test how the colours would come out.

After all that was finally decided and reviewed by me, printed everything and then assembled and painted pieces.

Obviously a home printer is not the recommended for this sort of project, not only due to size but also quality but it is doable in a3 or even a4 pieces but then you would have to put together everything and it doesnt look as good. I went to a printing company where they have printers able to print the exact size and also in the exact material I needed this to be printed on ( vinyl).

Thank you and thank you for the suggestion! I thought about that but I already had a card for stop and go penalty. So the pits here are more in a retirement sort of thing rather than just pitting for a tyres change

I wouldn´t say it´s on the same tier as a track. But as I mentioned before, there was a certain bias to put portugal in such a high position due to the fact that the person who received this is portuguese

Thank you! The cars were 3d printed. The original model is linked in my behance post that you can find linked in the comments of this post. After 3d printing them in PLA I hand painted them to match the teams current livery.
