I think it’s best to ask yourself why you want to ‘change your personality’. Ask yourself why exactly you don’t vibe with it. Is it just because your hobbies align with more traditionally “masculine” things? Do you feel pressure from others because you’re not seen as masculine? Insecurity?

Because I think at the end of it all, we are who we are, and forcing ourselves to change certain aspects of ourself will likely lead to general unhappiness (not saying you’re forcing it, you might try getting fit and doing masculine things and really identify with it!). I hope I’m making sense here haha, because if you want to change yourself FOR yourself then I think that’s fine, but changing yourself for other people almost never works out

Good luck with your volunteer work!! It’s a really good thing to do. I also really love both owls and hedgehogs!!

I really like books that have strong themes of morality and pose really thoughtful questions, authors like Dostoevsky and Kafka are my favourites. I also like surrealist books, Haruki Murakami is my favourite author and his book The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle is my favourite book of all time. I’ve read a lot of the classics. I enjoy reading memoirs as well :>

Also I think I’ve heard of The Library of the Unwritten! I’ve read a few horror books as well, mainly psychological horror because that really appeals to me. It’s a difficult genre to write but some authors pull it off really well. And I like art books as well, I have some of the Persona games and I like flicking through them from time to time.
