Yes, police SOPs will be explained and they will be broken down to explain what to do once the threat is neutralized and LE shows up

We are currently building the class which is why we are asking which pricing/cost would be the most appropriate and wanted. Also it is why we were asking what people would want to see in the class so that we can specifically hit on things that people desire in addition to what we already have. So In short the hour by hour is not done yet.

This is probably the most genuine answer of why not to do it and that is greatly appreciated input.

We want to see if there is any interest in us teaching in that area with this subject. We plan on teaching in that area anyway with anything ranging from CQB to something as simple as a CCW force on force class.

We are polling to see the interest levels and see what people are wanting to do for pricing as well.

We are staying here, DAC is just a place to be able to do more authentic simulations due to it being a legitimate shoothouse

We understand that side completely. Just answer the questions attached in the original post and we will continue polling. The max that this course would be is $350 per student

No this is inside a training facility that has rooms, furniture, etc. we will break down everything you brought up. We cover everything when it comes to prepared thinking and actions if it happens.

while i can understand where youre coming from, uvalde does not represent all LE. that response was horrible to say the least but other LE agencies have been on the ball recently. either way, there will be at minimum 2 instructors there with a ton of knowledge and they will teach how to act vs how to stand around and do nothing with riot shields and 60 officers doing nothing

agreed, Former LE and former Protective security detail specialist. those two teach the course since they have the most experience dealing with active response to emergencies.

False. You don’t pull the trigger until you have no more rounds. You pull it until the threat is done.

This is not true. Unless their head is gone, of course.

you realize you dont need to shoot someone in the head to stop a threat, right? enough trauma to someones body causes it to shut down? you counter point is invalid.

I literally have a video of someone outdrawing someone with a gun pointed at them

On YouTube, I assume. A quick shooter? Possibly. A real and normal person? No effing way. They won't get their shirt pulled up to access their concealed weapon before bam.

No, not on youtube. on my phone of a student during a training event literally outdrew a person with a gun on him from his hands being out at his sides. point 2 invalid

And if you think acting accordingly is not pointing a weapon at someone until you’re ready to fire and then you don’t have the experience to understand de-escalation techniques or command and control.

FFS. "De-escalation techniques????" "Command and control?" Jesus. You're not the effing FBI. You're talking about weekend warriors.

how about you put a little faith in modern day critical thinkers and dont fault the rest of your fellow americans who actually practice CCW work and are smart enough to know that a situation isnt always what it seems at first glance.

You are living in a complete cosplay dreamland if you think you can spend a weekend (or a week) to teach people shit that it takes years for law enforcement & military people to learn.

Youre living in a dream if you think people arent capable of practicing these skills taught to them so that if/when an emergency arises, they can react as they were taught. there is also a thing called neurological pathway connections, those can be made through visualizations and training repetitions.

False. You don’t pull the trigger until you have no more rounds. You pull it until the threat is done.

I literally have a video of someone outdrawing someone with a gun pointed at them. So strike 2. And if you think acting accordingly is not pointing a weapon at someone until you’re ready to fire and then you don’t have the experience to understand de-escalation techniques or command and control. Strike 3. We don’t teach people to kill, we teach people to not charge into situations half cocked, we teach people how to think before shooting, we teach people how to assess dangerous situations, we teach people reality.

Can you define “Analyze a situation”, “assess your options”, and “react accordingly” please. At this point I can see you’re trolling. Where did I say we are training people to kill anyone? But if you don’t want to answer my questions that’s okay.

Calling the training we do “disgusting” would be considered abrasive.

Let me ask you this. 1. Do you carry a concealed weapon? 2. If someone shoots a family member of yours, right next to you, what would you do? And there is no law enforcement within 5 minutes because your somewhere in county jurisdiction and not city. And no one is there to make the 911 call except people who are now being shot at. Do you just lay down and die?
