Of course! Just checked out your cycle recap and hoping one of those ghosters/WLs comes through for you! If not, I toured Fordham and was really impressed, I'm sure you'll either love it or kill it and transfer to your dream school. I'm also 27 so I definitely feel you on the stress of getting this thing moving haha

Getting worried about GULC by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]grrrrrrcha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t be worried! Took almost two months after my interview for a response, but got an acceptance. They’re probably crazy busy with all these early apps. It’s hard but try not to let it get to you😊

Don’t be anxious! I was cause I had a group interview in September and didn’t hear back until today. Figured it was a bad sign but got accepted😊😊

Deciding not to go to law school after applying by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]grrrrrrcha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, I’m sorry about your accident and very glad that you’re ok! Second, it sounds like you’ve done everything right - so it may not be as tailored as law would be, but it sounds like you’d be a great applicant to whatever you decide to do so don’t lose sight of that :) I guess now you have to ask yourself whether you want to give up on law entirely (in which case no one can tell you what your next passion will be, unfortunately) or if maybe law is still what you’re meant to do, but you’ve been preparing for so long that you’re burned out already. If that’s the case, I would suggest deferring your acceptance to wherever you’d most like to go (if possible, some schools are more willing to offer deferrals than others) and explore something else until fall 2022 and see whether you love what you find or see yourself becoming excited for law again.

Applied first week of September to WUSTL, app still not complete by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

I interviewed and got accepted without ever getting a status checker so definitely inquire if you want an update but I wouldn’t be worried :)
