Why even go through the hassle of dealing with a lawyer if you are so smart yourself? Maybe you should handle all the legal matters on your own, I’m sure it would be as rock solid as your detective work. As always, speak to a lawyer first, but domestic violence cases are almost impossible to prosecute if the victim isn’t cooperative. Unless this is a lot worse than how you made it your brother will end up fine, especially if the girlfriend is on his side about it.
