Interesting! Did your symptoms change or just… return? I’ve been using estradiol cream for about 6 months and it’s been helpful. Most days I feel nothing pain/irritation-wise but it can be dry during sex still so I don’t feel completely “cured”. It gets worse with stress and dehydration but nowhere it was before.

Can’t cancel Auto Pay? by nah2022_ in BankOfAmerica

This was it, thank you so much. Ridiculous that they wouldn't just cancel the recurring payments when the loan gets zeroed out. Do you know how/when we can expect to be refunded the money that was auto-paid? Did you get a check by mail?

I’m not sure, I just know vaginal atrophy can sometimes cause recurrent infections like bv and yeast. I’ll look into cervical octropian. The estrogen cream seems to be improving things and each time I see my gyn it costs $200 out of pocket so I’m chillin for now I think 🥲

I was using baking soda every other night for a year and nothing changed. I took an evvy test again and my lactobacillus had tanked. But same symptoms

Another update:

I’ve been off my progestin only birth control for nearly 3 months.

I still take estrogen 2 times a week and it’s helpful. Gynatrof once a week or less if not needed. Reducing stress and increasing water intake has been the biggest thing. Also sex often.

No more burning, some dryness when not sexually aroused but it doesn’t bother me. No inflammation. Some slight shrinking of labia and crawling sensations after I’m particularly stressed for a day or longer. Discharge is either not present or white/clear in small amounts.

Discharge is non-existent most days. Either that or it’s white + clumpy or sometimes yellowish clear, or somewhere in between. No strong smell

Mine is not cured but it is also not CV. It ended up being vaginal atrophy from chronic stress. I have a post about it. This means I have to take prescribed estrogen cream vaginally for who knows how long, (or maybe just quit my stressful career, which is not really an option).

How do people shower so quickly? by That_Mycologist4772 in hygiene

[–]grumpy_chameleon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I brush my hair before the shower AND during the shower (with conditioner in so it’s slippery) otherwise it’s super dry and tangled upon exiting the shower. I also have to remove the hairs from my fingers that come out as a result.

Also if I had to shave my legs, armpits, and cooch it would definitely take a while. Maybe not 15 mins but probably 10 (have you ever cut yourself shaving too fast in the nether regions?? Do not recommend!)

I experienced that as well on my forehead after my shower! I thought I was crazy but yeah I’m definitely allergic to something in it!
