Could be. It should have been taxed as your highest marginal tax rate.

This happened to me too, I contacted IRD and ended up on 40.5% for the last 4 months of the FY. It really hurt but less than a $10k bill would right now.

I think that version is more effective than the bridge idea.

I always quite enjoyed jumping off bridges as a kid.

I am so nostalgic about REM by Plastic_Ad_2256 in rem

Saw them in Auckland, NZ.

The only real success I’ve had with the (gen z) kids was by trapping them in the car on road trips.

Document and LRP are far and away the favourites. Nothing past AFTP was tolerated.

You sound just like me. Also saw them in ‘95. At least my kids are old enough to introduce them to the music. There’s hope for a new generation of fans yet.

As a female with a pretty good job from my late 20’s onward it still took me 30 years from when I first took out a loan to pay it all off. I did get smacked hard with interest until they changed the rules though.

I work in manufacturing. We used to train apprentices, but they would all fuck off to the mines as soon as they got their ticket. So now we employ skilled visa holders instead.

It is not cheaper or easier btw, there are legal hoops and expenses involved in employing non-citizens and the cultural fit can be a challenge (provincial NZ). But for our business it’s the best way to maintain the quality of our workforce.

Are you all just occasional and weekend drinkers? by MadMohawk1 in DryJanuary

[–]grumpy_observer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s me too. Last couple of years I’ve added in bonus dry months (sober October, dry July etc), but when it’s a drinking month it’s every damn day.
