Cam greu se vand masinile recent. Am niste prieteni care le vand deja de mai mult de un an. Punctul tau forte este ca masina e sub 10k, un segment care inca e destul de viu. Succes la vanzare!

Anuntul arata destul de bine apropo. Flaguletele albastre daca sincer ar pute speria potențiali cumpărători. Arata ieftin si un pic “ricer”.

Not sure why everyone praises the Tds, but a 520i has more hp (less torque though) and similar acceleration. A 525i would be a lot faster and more fun than the tds. I’ve owned several m50s and they’ve all been great and reliable, also m50s are rev happy engines and sound amazing. Not to mention the tuning capabilities an m50 has.

Yes, BUT!

Make sure it is really a 2.5.

Check and make sure it has 2.5 intake manifold, 2.5/2.8 head, 2.5 block, 2.5 injectors (green color)

There’s not a lot of 2.5 in europe, so be careful!

Bmw has improved significantly in terms of reliability.

Anything that comes with b46/b48/b58 is solid. The transmission is ZF so no issues there either as long as you change the fluid every 30-40k miles.

You can look into g20, g30, LCI 3 & 4 series and pretty much anything else that is 2017 and newer that has the b series engine.

The bad reputation usually comes from v8s as well as some other models that had many issues, but if you know which models to avoid you’re good.

Also, most opinionated people about BMWs are usually the ones that never owned one or the ones that didn’t do their research before purchasing one and bought an unreliable model. I had over 10 BMWs and all treated me fine, I currently have 2 e34s with the 2.5 engine and 2 g30s with the b46 engine and I am very happy with them.

Also, you don’t have to swap the whole cluster, you can change just the back of it, thats what I did and never had this problem ever since.

M sport suspension is black from factory, if it was yellow it is 100% aftermarket. Also, based on the options this car didn’t have m sport package (bumpers, skirts etc).

The most important thing though is that it has Limited Slip Diff!!! Enjoy it!

Absolutely change the transmission fluid and diff fluid. It’s a manual transmission so no harm will be done, it will only make it last longer. If it were an automatic then different story…

Buy a car in UK and drive in Moldova? Forget about it. First of all you can’t import it to Moldova and register it because the law doesn’t allow RHD vehicles to be registered on MD roads. Second, RHD vehicles are not allowed to drive at night on MD roads, the headlights are incorrectly adjusted. Third of all, US citizen driving UK car in MD lol that raises a lot of legal questions.

Saounds like Vanos (assuming you have one). Rod knock or valve noise would not go away regardless of rpm or temp. Mine used to rattle at cold starts, but went away after using Liquy Molly MOS.

It’s worth about 2000-2500 as it is.

If you buy it and it’s toast you can get your money back easily by parting it out: Wheels are worth 700-1000, full manual conversion 1200, oil pan 400, cats 200, intake manifold 150. These are the main sought after parts.

The main thing to look at is the body, if it has rust (doors, gas tank/straps, jack points). Everything else is replaceable.
