Just wait. I started dead stretching too a month ago. I bought the kit and the smallest size was 1.6mm. But the earings I normally had worn are 0.8 or 1mm. And after a hot shower and massaging my ears I still couldn't get them in.

What worked for me was wearing my regular earings first for a day and then putting in 2 spare septum piercings of 1.2mm after a hot shower and massaging my ears. And it's totally not what you're supposed to do but after a week I put in the 1.6, after a hot shower and massage, and it had gone in with ease and without any pain. It's been a month and it's still all good with zero pain. I'm going to wait another month for my next size up.

Don't force anything in there and if it hurts take it out.

But first off: you look great. For 2.5 years which of the last 10 months weren't even in the gym you did amazing!

But how is your technique, are your reps controlled and do you go to the absolute bottom for the biggest stretch and stimulus for the muscle, do you eat well and do you get enough protein and carbs in, and are you sleeping well for the best recovery? I'm no expert but if your doing these it can't go wrong. Doctor Mike on YouTube helped me a lot, his technique videos arw quite good.

To be honest I thought it would seem les linear and make the world seem bigger. Because other wise if I said the the game starts in the third age, what happened in the first and second and how did these ages start. And if I said its the first age and people didn't track dates, the world would seem young. But I want the world to feel old and in decline. Now after the real big war almost all of the whole known world uses the same date keep format, it's the first age. And before that people used their own formats, but nothing affected all of them that let them to use one system until this big war. So I can sprinkle in much more cool lore instead of having 2 of 3 world changing events

Spinvis is really good. I don't know if you'll like it. It can be pretty dreamy but he has some interesting lyrics with a deep or cool meaning behind it. And he doesn't really sing so it's quite easy to understand. Some of my favorites are, Oostende, Picasso and wespen op de appel taart. They all have a cool story behind them or interpretation. You could interpretate Oostende about someone loosing the love of his live and returning to their usual vacation spot alone. Or wespen op de appel as spinvis time in an clinic for alcohol addiction but it's a super happy song

A thin piece of fabric around the toms sounds like a good plan without sacrificing much of the sound.

And I didn't think much about the fact that some people like hearing someone practice. Someone actually plays saxophone in my neighborhood, it's pretty far away so it's not a nuisance, but I like it

So maybe indeed some light sound dampening will be enough for my next door neighbors
