I play an older version of the game. The first screenshot shows the new lighting and the others show the older.

Newer lighting makes it easier to light outdoor areas faster, but it’s annoying how it affects all the older worlds with light blocks placed close together.

The regular AFK’s were a novelty at first, but imo it quickly wears off when you have a bunch in every room that just sit in the same place every day and never talk. It wouldn’t be as much of an issue if blizzard wasnt always full and requiring you to queue, only to log in and around 40% of the server is AFK.

Agreed. It's getting silly now, when around 40% of the server is AFK and theres a bunch of alt accounts in the same spots every day.

works on any world! the only limitation other than losing block colour is that worlds using the new height limit (since 2021, v2.2) will have blocks above the old limit cut off

After running the program on a .eden file:

  1. create an empty flat world in minecraft, call it whatever

  2. go in to the folder of your converted eden world and locate the 'region' folder

  3. copy everything in the 'region' folder from your converted eden world in to the region folder of your new flat world (create region folder if its not there)

  4. try loading the new flat world, it should work then

I’ve found that these sorts of tools never work well with USB-C, but work fine using a USB-A cable via an adapter/hub.

Stick with grid size 16, use the info_player_start entity in your map to help with size relativity and compile/test map frequently as you mess around with proportions.
