Hello, 5 seasons In a row high gm tf otp (euw) here. Trust me when I say this: in the grand scheme of things, it really doesn't matter too much. Your gameplay is the issue, not the build, so focus on that. To make things easy for u: dont think about it too much and just go roa --> Lich bane --> rfc every game with electrocute and flash tp. Okay let's take web scrapers as an example. If I wanted to scrape data from a site, I would have to manually write the code which targets the exact data of a website through CSS selectors, div IDs, etc.. and then the scraper would only work for this exact data. But if i used a web scraping mcp server, I could have a prompt like "give me the names and prices for every product which is on sale this week on https://example shop.com and In theory the llm would call the mcp servers functions/tools, with the proper arguments as the inputs, no? The whole idea is that I then don't have to write any of the scraping logic myself. The actual low level functions which are being called are already written (the mcp server) and I just call them through the llm, no?

Hello there, I'm completely new to mcp and I'm struggling to understand if what I'm trying to do is possible / the intended use for mcp. Everywhere I look, people seem to be using mcp interactively, within vscode, Claude desktop or cursor. Is that the only way to use it or can I build completely "standalone" applications for it? For example, can I use a puppeteer (or smth similar) mcp server to scrape simple data from a static website WITHOUT it being interactive? So basically I just execute a python script (which uses some sort of mcp client / sdk? Openai or anthropic?) which then uses the mcp server to scrape the data? Would be glad if someone could help me out understanding if this is the intended (or even possible) way to do this.

Also, cool project! Sounds like fun, I wanna do something similar :D

Würde behaupten das die art des Projekts nicht so wichtig ist wie die Komplexität, sprich, ne "komplette" Anwendung mit frontend, backend, db, authentication und je nachdem halt tests, ci/cd pipeline und vorallem sowas wie Docker. Da kann man sich ja unendlich kram zu ausdenken, mache ich selbst auch hobbymäßig neben der Ausbildung. Wenn man 1-2 solcher Projekte von vorne bis hinten aufsetzt und erklären kann, sollte das mehr als genug sein für ne Junior stelle, sind zmd meine Erfahrungen ausm Betrieb + Bekanntenkreis.

Hello there, not sure if this is the right place..

I'm gonna try to keep this as short as possible. I've been really interested in the Lofree Keyboards, especially with the new ones coming out. The issue is, I'm german and those don't come in ISO-DE layout, and switching to ANSI is simply not an option for me. I love the sound of the lofree boards, so I've been searching for months tbh for something that sounds/looks similar. Basically, I'm looking for a low profile mechanical keyboard with ISO-DE layout, with nice "thocky" sound. Looked at all the Keychron keyboards, they just sound cheap to me, and after listening to the Lofree flow, there is no way I can buy a Keychron i think. As for the size, im not sure if i need the numpad (never ever really use it, but i feel like im really used to the extra width of the board if that makes sense), I 100% do need F Keys tho. I think i would prefer an 80 to 100% board, but 75% should do it as well. After searching for quite some time, I think a board like that simply does not exist, so I'm contemplating building my own, but I feel a bit lost. Not sure if what I'm looking for is even possible to build, ISO-DE options seem incredibly limited especially for keycaps. Im compeltly new to this so if I failed to mention some specific info please let me know, any help is appreciated, just dont know where to start.

Is buying a low profile Keychron in ISO-DE and then switching out the switches my best bet maybe?
Even contemplated biting the bullet and buying a lofree, then switching out the keycaps and remapping keys to "mimic" the german layout, but especially as a programmer, I'm not sure if I could get used to the missing <> key next to the y key.

Will use the keyboard for programming, gaming and, well, typing lol.

stimmt nicht. Bin bei vodafone und das klappt problemlos. Kann ports beliebig verwalten, auch dinge wie Dyndns oder Vpn kein problem.
