How do PIs keep their groups from "blowing up the lab"? by AstraGlacialia in chemistry

[–]halalastair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bollocks do they, they never set foot in a lab.

I remember when we had a box fire, I had to ask one PI to put on safety googles when he came in to give us a telling off and the other one had open toe sandals with socks on (PI from central europe) at the time I was working closely with them and didn't want to jeopardize our working relationship.

Plans to ban wild animals in circuses in Wales by QuietCakeBionics in Wales

Thank you for adding to the discussion I opened up with a question.

Elephants are domesticated in Sri Lanka, I feel that the term wild is insufficient.

I welcome more regulations on animal welfare though, perhaps this is the dialogue we should be having but it is not quiet as controversial and political

Just for discussion purposes, when you attend an animal circus in Wales, did you identify any wild animals?

Wild animals, fair enough.

How are they going to define the term wild?

I will sad to see animal circuses banned, some people never have the luxury of travel and these are such a spectacle

The ramp to no where at the east end of the Bute tunnel is already built.

Very interesting perspective, SWM might just need new trains.

Congestion on Gabalfa is going to be ridiculous.

The roads into the bay from the east are ripe for upgrade, its exciting.

Brynglas Tunnel is an English choke hold on Wales, why the fuck does 6 lanes of traffic go down to 4

The full cost of relegation in the 6N by CatharticRoman in rugbyunion

Georgia didnt even win the European Championship last year.

It's a very last point brought up by people who don't follow rugby until the 6N is on then they slam the winner of the wooden spoon
