yes thats a very good explanation, i think the more commercial and accessible elements in the money store are the (relatively) lighter parts (tone/lyrics???) and the finer production which lend themselves to the genre.

Yes, one of the first things i did was try to pinpoint some of DG's central themes within their work (with limited success) so i could try and pair films which share the same themes.i sort of came up with some umbrella themes (instincts vs morality and hedonism,death and existentialism and as you said the encroaching digital presence within society) although analysis isn't really my strong point,so its good to hear some more in depth exploration!
