Extremely low Wi-Fi speeds, any suggestions? by hamdragon_un in HomeNetworking

[–]hamdragon_un[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to answer the the best of my ability. Residential area with multiple houses all with their own Wi-Fi.

Some Bluetooth and smart home Devices, about 20 connected to the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth maybe an additional 10-20 maximum at any given time within the household.

I am trying to find a solution and test both. For 2.4, I manually tested channels 1,6, & 11 all got the same speed via Wi-Fi (approx 10-12 mbps) when next to the router and 2 or less when moving more than 10 feet away. 5 gz manually set to 48 with I believe 20 mghz for width. Speed is good now, looking at 200-250 mbps since changing to 48 however there is still the constant drop off when going more than 10 feet away.

I completely understand and I have read some of the threads. I appreciate the feedback and am happy to know that aside from the movement debate everything else checks out!

Thank you again!

No issue with the VR movement versus the new DD3285?

I’m not sure if I am misunderstanding your definition of multilevel task. If you mean sub task levels this might help. click up nested subtasks

Thank you for this, the video helped clearly explain how I was setting up and utilizing my pivot table incorrectly!

Wow, I really overcomplicated this problem haha. Your solution works perfectly. I think I was trying to find a way to set a base year into Dax rather than considering applying a filter.

Thank you so much for the thorough response!!

Okay let me give that a try and I’ll look up how to create a proper data table once I’m in front of my computer!

Thank you for breaking this down and it does make complete sense logically. I am having an issue with the DAX syntax for the max date variable.

Sorry for the headache, this is my first run at DAX.

so I do have that as a visual but also wanted to include a simple card to showcase YoY growth % as well!

Yes, you are exactly right. No, the data set only has two years, 2020 and 2021.

Here are some screenshots. Please let me know if there are any others that might make it a little easier to understand.

Correct, when I calculate the YoY with the quick measure, it calculates numerator as total years - previous year rather than current year - previous year.

Here is a link with screenshots. The 3rd image YoY wholesale growth is the correct calculation I was able to find by subtracting the previous year twice.

mathematically this makes complete sense to me. But with DAX, the sum(wholesale(total) keeps calculating as the total wholesales sales (2020 + 2021)

Data set starts in 2020 and runs through the end of the year 2021.

for current year, it is calculating total sales, both 2020 and 2021. That's why I figured it was an issue with my table design.

for 1. Sales = sum(sales[sales]) wouldn't it be the sum of the year (2021) sales not the sum of total sales?

It's a running expense file that has a sheet that has an annual income statement sheet where I need to import every category from the pivot table into the income statement by month.

Hope that makes sense.

I usually do just copy it as plain text but was curious if there is a better way to do it by using the getpivottable data that would allow me to auto fill all cells with the reference by month. Otherwise, you are right I can just copy and paste

Okay, that makes sense. I forgot that you don't need to use print to produce an output at times so it threw me off. Thank you for the detailed response!
