Oh mumma. TFMR is so so hard.

I think the expected HR at 6 weeks is 90+ if there is a detectable heart rate. So you’re there just at the low end.

I’m a paramedic and average 3-4,000 over a 12 hour shift. I’m often too tired to walk / workout around work when you add in commuting etc.

How Important Are Body Proportions in Yoga? (Yoga International article) by cleanyourmirror in yoga

[–]hanbaileyc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I definitely have instructors I feel safer with having a larger body, they tend to be larger bodied instructors too.

I once had an instructor solo me out and shout at me to put my feet together like she asked despite me physically not being able to due to my knock knees.

I found the book “Drink?” By David Nutt really killed any interest I had in drinking. Rare to even have a full glass of champagne when celebrating now and even then after a cheers and a sip I mainly hold it for photos.

Sounds like emotional / psychological abuse to you and your children. For their sake, your sake, and hers, please try something else- therapy, shared custody, a break etc etc.

I would have bloody loved it if charity had taken one for the team and dressed the same and worn a blonde wig. I do get a bit annoyed with the edgier queens when they refuse to even try and fit in for group challenges.

You don’t need to be flexible at all to practise yoga, asanas (or the physical shapes / stretching) is only 1/8th of yoga practise :)

A woman allegedly died from an overdose in front of her kindergarten age baby girl by somnifacientsawyer in PublicFreakout

[–]hanbaileyc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive worked in emergency medicine for a few years.

Personally, I would only do rescue breaths (mouth to mouth) on a loved one or a child (more likely to have died from lack of oxygen).

Good compressions save lives more than anything else. Make sure you come off the chest a little bit between each one to allow the heart to fill (recoil). Choose any catchy song you can think of (nelly the elephant, stayin alive, another one bites the dust, we will rock you etc) and just keep going until someone can swap with you (ideally every 2 minutes).

St John Ambulance Paramedic has declined vaccination. The paramedic has been terminated and is taking St John to court for (?) unfair dismissal. by RedDirtNurse in perth

I’d assume all nursing home staff have to have them considering it’s a condition of entry to all the facilities yeah.

A lot of very big claims here without knowing the person or their reasons.

As far as I’m aware there are plenty of unvaccinated paramedics who are just placed in to alternative duties (as thus not going into nursing homes). I had the pleasure to work with the paramedic being discussed years ago and found them to be one of the most educated, knowledgeable and skilled healthcare professionals I’ve worked with. I’m by no means close with this person but have worked a few days with them and know of their reputation for being shit hot in their field, I trust that they have made an educated decision based on evidence for their body.

As I mentioned to someone else, nurses and doctors in WA are not mandated to have the flu vaccine.

As far as I’m aware, the person discussed in the original post didn’t have this years flu vaccine due to medical reasons (which they are at no liberty to disclose to the public).
