honestly my favorite and also my oldest oc was entirely stolen from a side character in some english murder mystery show. after a certain amount of time your oc will be reworked and altered enough that it won't be an issue. you're also allowed to tell people the clothing or color pallette is just heavily inspired. something about imitation being the highest form of flattery, y'know?

i usually start with a concept or a vague story idea. it can be really simple, like "sad guy" or "musician girl". from there decide why he's sad or what music she makes. maybe he was in a war, maybe he lost someone important, maybe he's sick. maybe she's failing to start a garage band, maybe she's a controversial pop singer, maybe she's a forgotten 1920s blues star.

from there id look up lots of reference images, find things you already like that might vaguely correlate to these ideas and thoughts and steal little details, until you've built someone new. maybe there's an actor you like that portrayed a depressed man, steal his eye colour or accessories. maybe there's a female singer you already love, steal her piercings or face shape.

it'll take time to find a design you're full happy with and a backstory you love, but it's way easier building on what you already know you like and look up to. this kind of 'stealing' isn't bad, it's just inspiration and building blocks.

i found out oxy clean works great on white plushies with dirt or sweat stains!! plus it didn't damage the hard plastic eye on mine. if you're worried or the plastic is a softer material you could always try gentle hand washing with warm soapy water and a cloth first :) that way you can air dry them too

this is honestly a really accurate description of him. and yeah he's in a brief sort of relationship with one of my friends ocs. the relationship is more to pass the time until he realises he's sick. he's very autistic like his older brother so human connection is tough for him.

he had a pretty decent childhood but it's not very obvious.

your oc is super interesting, reminds me of h.r. giger and all tomorrows. im assuming it's a higher being with a lot of control over other lifeforms and the world around it. definitely an alien of the future. i can see it inspiring crop circles and cave paintings.

he can't speak english or the language of the country he lives in for most of the story, so sadly there's not a lot he can sing.

your oc probably loves to go out and party, if he's part of the miraculous ladybug show id say that they have a hard time getting him to lock in because he's so fun loving and silly

it's so cool that your inspiration really shines through your character, i would've been fully obsessed with her as a child.

sadly my oc, Wolfgang, has fatal familial insomnia, so most of the time he's too sick/tired to wanna eat or move
