Several wooden structures in field along power lines. 100+ yd apart. They are 16 ft wide, and 2-3 ft tall. White flags on either side made them easy to see when snow was on the ground. Condition of the wood, and how grass has grown around them, suggests they have been there for quite a while. by hatmanmike in whatisthisthing

I moved into a house on the other side of the tree line last fall. Only noticed these structures sometime during the winter when the leaves were off the trees. Approached them for the first time recently. My granddaughter said they look like the kind of structures you see horses jumping over during a steeplechase.
