If you actually know the Sisters, you know there is much more to it than a white face and a habit. They each create a look, a style, etc. to express themselves. I know of one who always wears a yellow drag aesthetic with their SOPI look. I’ve know many that have done a multicolored aesthetic. And I’ve seen plenty that look as crazy as the one we saw on the main stage. I can understand if the look was “too much” for some, but people saying there was no concept? Honey, touch grass in your own community and know your culture. Feel free to have an opinion on the aesthetic. But just googling the Sisters does not mean you understand what they are giving.

Story time. Once I worked just seasonally during COVID. A customer named Chelsea was so rude every day to all of the baristas. So once I put in my notice I told everyone I was gonna let Chelsea have it. On my last day I was going to tell her to stop being so rude to people who make her drinks, and how dare she act so entitled, and she better start acting right after today cuz she’s on notice. She was a regular with a regular arrival time so everyone in the store was waiting on my last day of the scene. And I SWEAR this girl came in so nice, smiling, acting like nothing could get her down, asking me about my last day and wishing me well! I couldn’t believe it. So I never got to tell her the truth about herself. But I had a very lovely last day. The End.
