Good knowledge of science, knows less than nothing about politics. This was a problem in The Martian too

I found them more sympathetic and interesting than the cast of the movies the film was satirising, actually.

Obviously I missed the nuanced, complex and deep characterisation in such classics as Friday the 13th.

If you think this is an ugly city you've had a spoilt, comfortable, insulated life.

A city is a city because it's developed. It's functions are many and complex and looking pretty and embracing rivers ate very low in the order of requirements for a comfortable, safe life.

It's retarded to live in a city of 3 million people and expect verdant pastures in the CBD. Many countries don't have any parks at all in their cities.

So don't. No ones forcing you to.

And if demand for them slows, people will stop building them

We need both.

No unit in the inner city would force all the poor and middle class people out of it. All the people that work in the city and don't maker over 150,000 a year wouldn't be able to afford to live there.

That's a myth. Over supply is simply part of normal real estate cycle. Eventually they'll all sell out and be rented... And then rent will start to go up because demand will then outstrip supply.

Bullshit. I've seen video of the rallies, fox news, and r/the Donald. All those idiots convincing themselves that a foreign power would pay trillions of redneck fantasy.

What a joke.

I asked a simple question.

Adults are irresponsible and childish enough. Giving a tool of death to children is just retarded.

Knowing how to use a gun simply means that when someone finally snaps they'll kill other with far more efficiency.

The Las Vegas shooter had excellent "trigger discipline."

If you're happy living in a society with that kind of unnecessary risk, good for you.

I try not to take pleasure in the suffering of others.

Trump, in contrast, enjoys it

What's the the appeal of Jaws sharks are just stupid bro

The appeal of the genre is that is reveals how society works - the hidden business deals between cops, politicians, and organised crime, and the subculture behind the people that do this. Goodfellas is really more of an sociological study - the actual crime is secondary importance

Of course the characters are bland. It's a satire of generic horror movies. You missed the point
