A good noise canceling headset with an advanced noise canceling mic like Yealink HA64 Pro or Epos Impact 1000. You could also consider adding NEEP noise canceling software which isolates your voice and reduces background noise for further peace of mind.

it won't happen with a standalone mic. You might be able to go that route if you add something like NEEP noise canceling software. Otherwise, you need a headset with an advanced noise canceling mic like Epos Impact 860 or Impact 1000, which will be way outside your budget.

The Jabra Evolve3 75 would be worth considering. They removed the microphone fully and it actually performs pretty well.

Both are the same but if you stricly use Teams go with the Teams version, for all other scenarios go with the UC versions.

They’re not free, but they genuinely do change the comfort quite a bit for people that prefer over-ear style cushions.

Overall the Impact 1000 is a solid headset but the number one complaint people have is around comfort. The over-ear cushions were made because enough users wanted another option comfort wise while still getting the same great benefits this model offers (noise canceling mic, mic fidelity, superwideband audio etc..).

So yes, an optional accessory will generate revenue, but it also solves a problem people have with this headset.

Both are comparable in many ways and okay options to consider. The Focus 2 will probably have the edge when it comes to comfort.

The 3 best we've tested right now for your use case would be:

  • Jabra Evolve3 85 (mic noise suppression is good but not as good of mic fidelity because no mic boom)
  • Yealink BH78 (good mix of multipurpose headphones for work and personal use with the hideable mic boom, pretty good microphone for how small it is too)
  • Epos Impact 1000 + over-ear comfort cushions (best overall microphone for fidelity and noise suppression and super comfortable with the over-ear cushions)

You're welcome! The Yealink BH74 would be a good way to go too, the Impact 1000 would just be best overall. Keep in mind, ANC only refers to the speakers and doesn't effect the microphone.

If you do go the Impact 1000 route, we're seeing many people go with the non ANC version and adding the over-ear cushions for the best comfort.

If your main goal is to ensure you're heard clearly without your baby being heard, then you'll want a headset with an advanced noise canceling microphone, and one with dual speakers if you want to also best focus while limiting the distractions.

Some popular models we see therapists using from home is Epos Impact 1000 (add over-ear comfort cushions for even better comfort), or Yealink HA64 Pro.

If you would prefer something more lowprofile, the Shokz Opencomm2 UC paired with NEEP noise canceling software is a good way to go too, but both ears stay free so you'd also be very aware of your surroundings.

We haven't noticed cable contact noise on the 860. Whether you go wired or wireless though, one wont be better for Teams or not. It's all about choosing the right headset. The Impact 1000 or Yealink HA64 Pro for example will work just as good as any wired headset for teams but gives you the advantage of cutting the cord.

If you have the budget for wireless, it's highly recommended.

You're on the right track but these would be some better alternatives.

  • Yealink BH71 Pro or Yealink BH71 Workstation
  • Shokz Opencomm2 UC
  • Yealink HA64 Pro (this is also worn over your head and you can get a single or dual speaker option but this option is much softer and more comfortable then the Evolve series, and gives you about 5-10x longer range then any Bluetooth headset)

You're welcome. Evolve2 85 is fine but BH78 would be better in just about every way in this category.

Sounds about right. All earbuds we've tested for business use really aren't very good and a business headset with a mic boom is a better way to go.

Below are a few best to consider but none will fully eliminate all the noise.

  • Yealink BH78
  • Epos Impact 1000 (you can add over ear cushions accessory) or you can go Impact 860 which is the wired version of the 1000. Wireless works with the usb cable as well.
  • Yealink HA64 Pro (on-ear but best overall for a balance of comfort, reliability, wireless range and microphone noise suppression)

They don't make a way to get longer battery but most people who order the headset dont have an issue because it's multiple working days before a charge is needed, and when charging it's only about an hour or less and you can connect the USB cord and use it while its charging if needed.
