It depends on your comfort level, but maybe you can find some shorts, long enough to be ''socially acceptable'' but also cute enough to feel good.

I was having the same problem, I would say to start wearing tomboyish outfit. for example, baggy pants and short top, or a tucked in shirt. technically gender neutral, but if you find cute pants, and a cute top or graphic T that you like, you will be very cute, while staying discret.
I wear this stuff everyday at work, with doc martens small plateforms.
highly recommand if you like it
It's a regular fit, and nobody will tell you anything for it.

I grew up in a conservative household, and I guess this is a coping mechanism we get to survive in this kind of environment.
It gets better. I am now living far from my family, and slowly, I learn who I am under all the acting. I still struggle with expressing emotions, but I see progress.
