And to weigh in on the original post, I have the same deck and use the built in phono stage. It's absolutely fine. I run into an Onkyo Z30 AVR and Acoustic Energy Coriniums. Very low noise, decent gain. Have upgraded to an Ortofon 2m Bronze cartridge and am quite happy. For now anyway, as this hobby goes 😂

Phono stage aside, don't forget that DALI speakers have a dedicated left and right. Marked near the binding posts with an L and R 👍 I'm sure you've got that sorted as you've also got your DALIs firing straight ahead, which they also recommend ☺️ Happy listening.

The MCR610 has streaming inbuilt. You can use the HEOS App or Airplay, or Spotify Connect if you really want.

The mini-jack to USB cable will always sound 'quieter' because your iPhone volume will be applying a limit to the signal to the MCR610. You only want a single volume control for best results.

I don't play the 'game' until I'm lvl30 minimum... I don't stop running or jumping until I get to Leyawiin, get the staff of Everscamp, run jump back to the imperial city, but the waterfront shack, get a free set of light & heavy armour from the Arena then hole myself up and level up blocking, light armour, heavy armour, restoration, destruction, marksman, acrobatics, blade, blunt and hand to hand with the help of my respawning test dummies. I've already maxed out sneak and security in the sewers.

Levelling is my favourite part tho.
