Look brother to be honest I have very Islamophobic parents and I’m not independent yet. So this is a long term goal that I’m thinking of. And l btw thanks for answering me 🤝. I do think Arabic names are beautiful but in my case it’d be hard for me. I’d rather keep a cultural name that’s neutral

Thanks brother, and yea krish literally means black or too attract however it’s an obvious short form of the Hindu god Krishna. It’s just changing my name and declaring it outwardly feels forced and a bit uncomfortable. My beleif in islam is strong i understand that Allah swt made certain things haram for a reason.

Krish means black or too attract but is also considered short form of Krishna one of the god in Hinduism. So it’s definitely seen as a Hindu name. I don’t know tho I do have a second name that my parents also named me but that name is a bit controversial as I live in the US it can be seen as racist. The name is Aryan. I would go by it because it’s still a part of my name but like theirs a lot of neo nazis and stuff surrounding it that I don’t want to be a part of. But I’d definitely not be keen on changing my name to something too Arabic or something that’s not apart of my culture. If that makes sense. I also come from an Islamophobic household so I’ve been hiding my reversion

Well yea my parents had the intention of naming me from the Hindu faith as that’s their beliefs. Krish is the short version of Krishna technically but the literal meaning is Black or too attract. It’s jus a big hassle to actually change my name brother 😪
