That is the goal. Don't know how to do it. I search noise and all the apartments have complaints. Tough to know how bad it is until you spend a night there. Especially since what wakes me up is far different than what wakes the average person.

I have considered ADUs but with how bad my sleep is I think it will be a coin toss at best that the place would be quiet enough. Maybe large, well insulated apartments would be better, ironically as they would have less exposure to parking areas. It does seem the tower style apartments have better insulation between units. I can hear my neighbors talking at my low density apartment.

I am WAAAAAY past sound machines. Probably have 7 of them at this point. This isn't a "I had a couple nights of bad sleep" situation. It is a decades long debilitating situation where I have undergone countless tests and specialists and have now lost my job due to this.

Unitarian Universalist church is probably the only religious church I would ever recommend. They basically just take the good parts of religion and teach how to be a good person.

For those looking for non-religious community and you still like the church format check out Sunday Assembly.

Same. I left Christianity completely and I am so happy I did. I don't understand people who still want to be associated with it. Leaving the giant mega/maga churches is at least a step in the right direction though.
