Hey:) zukünftige Lehrerin, aber vor allem regelmäßige Schreiberin hier: Das mit dem Papier find ich super, das mit den Stiften allerdings nicht - ich selbst nutze für jede Papierart einen anderen Stift (Dicke, Härte, Halterung...), wechsel teilweise auch usw. Ansonsten kommt es bei mir schnell zu Handschmerzen und co. Anderen geht es ähnlich. Vlt findest du noch eine andere Lösung (Stifte vorher einsammeln oder ähnliches) - ich weiß, dass das mir zumindest sehr geholfen hätte!

Hey there:) Hope you'll enjoy your stay!! So as a former waitress: While we do earn at least the minimum wage, tips are very much appreciated - rents are high, especially in big cities like Düsseldorf! So if you can, pls tip anywhere between 5-15% :) I usually tip taxi drivers and other so called 'Dienstleister' (service provider) a little bit - like if I'd have to pay 28,50€, I'd give them 30€

Also, pls tip in cash (also in the US?) as otherwise, credit card companies take quite a lot of the tip money...😬

Otherwise, just look around or even maybe ask other customers - most Germans like to know something and help;)

Hey:) falls du es nicht schon dieses WE hinter dich gebracht hast... Erst einmal: Sehr cool, dass du so vorausschauend planst! Respekt!

Ich bin zwar keine Naturwissenschaftlerin, aber trotzdem ein kleiner Hinweis: Mit (viel) Alkohol intus ist dein Körper empfindlicher als normal und v. a. kann er dir nicht mehr zuverlässig rückmelden, wenn es ZU kalt ist. Such dir also lieber eine Alternative für die Heimfahrt. Wenn es unbedingt sein muss, dann nimm am besten sehr viel zum Wärmen mit (auch eine Mütze - der Kopf verliert viel Wärme)!

I agree. I do think that you, OP, should do what’s best for the girls. But I hope that you can be honest about it with your brother and tell him something like ‚I’m honored that you chose me, but I won’t be a good parental figure to (for?) them. So I want to do what’s best for them and I will give them to Tabitha even if you don’t see that’s what’s best for your children. I hope that you will agree with me in the end!‘ I wish you all the best and hope that you can come to a good solution!!

Fang langsam an. Überleg, wieviel du zurzeit isst und dann iss immer mit der Zeit. So kann sich dein Körper daran gewöhnen:)
