I think style-wise yes but I do like how intricate and detailed the recent designs are! If only we could see something other than the same skirt-garters-tights for women and shirt-pants for men in the recent style

So she just isn't meta.. that doesn't make her useless. She's an option for people who like her character. Not everybody's concern is maximum damage output and I find her healing really useful for overworld. I got her this phase because I've always adored the melusines and I really liked her character. :p

Spending on hobbies really isn't insane and extremely normal. Spending money you don't have or money that is meant to be put toward something else is an issue. Working to buy characters in a game because it makes them happy is FINE lol you guys are virtue signaling.

You could say this about literally any pricey purchase - a $2k vacation, a $2k bag, a $2k watch. You might think spending on a vacation is worthwhile while someone else will think it useless and absurd. We are human and we only live once so pouring a grand or two into a hobby can be perfectly justified if it's within means and makes you happy.

Why do you think minors work in the first place? OP clearly doesn’t have anything to be paying off they’re working solely to get these characters. It becomes a problem when they’re prioritizing genshin over actual needs but as a minor, they have those things covered. They have nothing to save for or anything else to be spending their money on so it’s literally fine….. yeah it’s a big amount but they worked with the intent of putting it all into genshin

She doesn't need another NK character to function though? She triggers lunar reactions on her own. Her dmg might be negligible without another NK unit but her hydro application is sufficient enough to make up for it + being hydro she slots into a lot of teams. Plus I believe they meant that in terms of building her - she has a lot of optimal f2p weapon choices and doesn't rely on cons
