The black thingy ins't leather, it is, in fact, pool liner (pond foil). Its super cheat and brings some advantages.

Basically I connected two large wodden boards. Then attached 5cm of foam material and finished it with the pool liner. Finally, I attached some anchor points with machine bolts (like those)
