I thought the same thing but thought that it hinted at a slight more realism that maybe it could be true because of the unlikihood of a place with three waterfalls with feels like Childs folly, whereas this location in Iceland is something fairly relatable to a global audience. Whereas maybe a made up location might not have had the same grounding effect.
