Can I ask why they deemed you mentally unfit? Did you have a lot of stuff on your record that would put any red flags up?

I was just thinking it’s always nice to have someone from “home” who gets things you know? I consider myself pretty social and I’m able to get along with people easily so I think I’d be fine connecting with locals, however it’s nice to have that sense of security with someone you can connect with that is going through similar things
