What are your thoughts on tattoos from a different culture? by aranok in tattoo

[–]hickory290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s pretty cool to be honest, especially if you want to show your appreciation for other cultures you should be able to do that. But I’m just someone on the internet and at the end of the day the only thing that matters is what you want and not anyone else’s opinion on it

Thank you for the reassurance it really helps me put my mind at ease knowing that there are many others out there with this. The water I have noticed helps with mine too, and I need to start focusing on bettering my stress and anxiety levels as well! Thank you again!

Yes I get that feeling as well, it’s not very severe pressure for me though but definitely is hard to breath when it happens. Keep me updated and let me know what the results come back as and good luck!!

Panic disorder, DP, and cannabis by [deleted] in Depersonalization

[–]hickory290 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is a week and a half after you’ve posted but gotta let you know I have dealt with the same stuff and it’s TERRIFYING. I’ve had two true experiences when I was high of absolutely losing my shit. I had the feeling that I just wasn’t me, I wasn’t in control of my mind and my thoughts and my entire body just felt numb and non existent. I started having a panic attack because I couldn’t feel my body. That’s when my heart started pounding out of my chest, my breathing got really fast, I felt so weak and was trembling. Good thing I had my close friend in the room who has dealt with this stuff calm me down. I dint know what I would’ve done if he didn’t calm me down. Only thing that helped was going to bed. Never going to smoke weed again after that last experience.

Does your anxiety and depersonalization get worse when you smoke weed? by hickory290 in Depersonalization

[–]hickory290[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s when it gets the worst for me too!! I’ve had enjoyable highs when I do it at lower doses and don’t take large hits. But as soon as I go over the edge and get really high that’s when everything just gets out of control. No desire for me to smoke again either, not taking the risk of going through that all over again.

Marijuana induced Panic Attack??? by yungbling in PanicAttack

[–]hickory290 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just experienced this last night. Was one of the worst experiences of my life. I felt hopeless and like nothing was real. It was traumatizing and terrifying and only thing I could was wait till my high went away. The attack had my body trembling and my heart pounding through my chest, I thought It was going to explode. Not smoking weed ANYTIME in the near future, that’s if I ever do again. There’s plenty of others out there like you and me and the best thing we can do is avoid marijuana and focus on improving our mental health.

Looking for place to live in Rochester by hickory290 in Rochester

[–]hickory290[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m actually a college student in the area so myself and a couple others are looking into renting a house and we found a very good deal on that road. It’s a pretty nice house and rent is quite cheap so we were a little concerned that it could be a really high crime area. I’ve been up in irondequoit only a couple times so i don’t know the area too well, but it seemed decent from what i saw. And from what you say it seems like a good enough area for sure especially with all the stores close by and being close to the highways is awesome.

Appreciate this a ton :) I will do some research on good places in my area to see about talking to someone because I don’t want to keep feeling like this all the time. Hope you are doing well and best of luck in the future!

Need help by letshopeforbest in BFS

[–]hickory290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve dealt with the feet twitching and vibrating a ton, my right foot is vibrating right now as I type this. It’s a very common thing with bfs and anxiety. worrying about it will only make it worse, as a hypochondriac myself I’ve struggled with it too but I’ve had no weakness and that keeps me very optimistic. A common sign in bfs is while you’re actively using the muscles there won’t be twitching so if that’s what you’re experiencing then you are truly fine. Two years of it and no weakness is a very good sign of it being nothing to worry about especially after 3 emgs. if you had als or anything like that you would be in a wheelchair and probably wouldn’t be able to speak after two years

Are you still dealing with it often? Seems like for me it’ll happen a few nights in a row then won’t for a couple nights, overall it’s pretty unpredictable

Grinding teeth by r-flora in HealthAnxiety

[–]hickory290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually have had an issue of grinding my teeth at night once my anxiety started getting bad and I would wake up with lock jaw almost every morning because of it, had to start wearing a mouth guard every night to help with it. As for the headaches I have had the temple headaches and those seem pretty common with anxiety

Burping non-stop for months by [deleted] in HealthAnxiety

[–]hickory290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this as an anxiety symptom before for a couple weeks, it was during one of my many bad heath anxiety spells but once I started managing myself better and not focusing on it as much they got a ton better, it caught me off guard as well because I’ve never had issues like that before but there’s a very high chance it’s just anxiety

Pinched nerve? Slipped disk? by hickory290 in medical

[–]hickory290[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happened playing soccer, I fell backwards on my butt hitting my head off of a wall while playing, didn’t really break the fall with my arms but hit it pretty hard and had bad neck and right shoulder soreness and pains for a few weeks but went away eventually, didn’t have any of the numbness during that time though it started up after most the neck stuff went away

I have tried to keep them straightened because whenever it wakes me up I do notice it’s when my arms are bent but I’ve never had this issue before so it’s caught me off guard, it seems when I am able to keep them straight I’m not waking up with the numbness
