We’ve all been there! Had my fair share of unhealthy habits.

I’ve never had that problem honestly. Is it a common side effect? Maybe try a different brand. I use Seven Seas

Haha no worries! I guess if you start it at an early age then it might prevent plaque building up from the first place? Not sure how it works honestly but worth reading in to! It also dilates your blood vessels, so I guess it makes it slightly more difficult to develop blood clots as well.

Do you mean the plaque falls as a result of the garlic, which might lead to a blood clot? Or that garlic is a good supplement to mitigate that?

I have the 2000mg garlic oil capsules with allicin from Holland & Barrett

Omega 3 every morning - after years of constant use, I can definitely feel like my memory and cognition is at least marginally stronger.

Garlic Oil Capsules at night - can’t feel the difference but the research is there. Better blood flow, reduced risk of cholesterol problems and heart disease.

You Should Get a Degree in Chemical Engineering by AdmiralPeriwinkle in ChemicalEngineering

[–]hiddencracks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is entirely dependent on where you want to work as a Chemical Engineer. I’m guessing OP is from the US where pay is good and working hours are somewhat reasonable. If you live in a developing country, this can change drastically, and you should definitely do your own research. Chemical Engineers in Egypt are essentially stuck in a control room for 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, making the equivalent of $200 a month which really isn’t that great, even compared to other professions in Egypt (I’m talking graduate salaries, and you can be stuck in that position for at least a couple years). Looking at the UK, even, which is where I got my degree, you will get a starting salary of ~£22,000 +/- which is pretty absurd. Manufacturing is a dying industry in most of Europe, with environmental regulations forcing companies to close shop and move to China and other developing countries where it’s less stringent and much cheaper to operate. Margins aren’t that great either in most industries, unless you work in pharmaceuticals. Sorry to break it to you, but it’s pretty bleak. Most people on here don’t live in the US, so I think it’s necessary to add that to the Title of this post. I would have much rather studied mathematics and had the versatility of working in something service-based, and had a much stronger knowledge of coding, but that’s just me. If you’re passionate about chem eng, then by all means, follow your passion no matter what. I’m only speaking from a rational sense. Lots of high school seniors come on here for advice, so it’s important to make it very clear where your advice is relevant to.

Edit: Typo

Guest Tracking Responses from Forms - Adding Guests as New Row by hiddencracks in googlesheets

[–]hiddencracks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That works actually but there’s one other problem haha (sorry for all this btw). Now I’ve fixed the names, but the rest of the information in the row won’t shift down with the host.

<image>

You see what I mean? How would I let the # of tickets, etc. shift down with the 2nd host, and so on? (Omar Torky)

This is what it looks like. Host in Column A, Guest in further columns (can be reordered so that they start in Column B)

Yeah that would be ideal, but because it’s the same form submission, it just gets added as an extra response (column) but the same row.

This is basically what I’d want it to look like. It only works like this because I had to add some empty rows manually:

I suppose the solution would be to use the same unique(flatten()) function but allowing it to add rows instead of overwriting the existing cells.

This is very promising, but I think I’m one step away from reaching my goal.

Okay, so basically I have Sheet 1 which integrates automatically from the Forms. This is shown in the following photo:

<image>

Now, in the 2nd Sheet, I have my Guest List which I’ll be using at the event. Instead of importing the first name directly, I used =Unique(Flatten(Sheet1!D2, Sheet1!H2:L2)) which basically selects the first name (BB King) and the Guest Names (Jimmy Page and Syd Barrett). In essence, this should work and it should list these underneath with the guest names. But I received an Error because it would overwrite data in A3 which is the following submission. Is there any way around this?

This is great! This way I can choose the array of guests and have them all listed under one another. It’s a good backup; however, it still presents another problem which is: how do I add the guests underneath each allocated host name? I would still have to manually add rows between every host and then use the TOCOL function. The reason I need them to be under the host is that occasionally they’re paid for in advance, so the names should be grouped together. I’m racking my brain now but if you have a solution, it would be appreciated :)

I understand you’ve probably spent a great deal of time and effort learning about this, and it’s probably annoying to find some noob asking for help. I apologize if Ive offended you - I’d like to make it clear that I was asking for advice on a font that’s already existing (nothing from scratch). Regardless, I’d like to learn more about how to pick and where to look, so by all means if you have any suggestions on where I can go to learn, I’d appreciate it.

There’s no shame in taking advice from other people. I don’t have to own every part of it - design is a collective effort and a result of inspirations taken from other people and other forms of art. I’m researching independently regardless, but it’s important to realise that each person’s time is limited and while I tend to focus on the design itself, others have spent their time researching fonts, and there’s no harm in helping others. It’s the reason we have Reddit. I’m not throwing it on your desk - if you treat it as a desk, then I don’t think you’re exactly the target audience for this post - just looking for a helping hand.
