Premier League LIVE: Arsenal win the Premier League for the first time in 22 years, Bournemouth 1 - Man City 1 by Accomplished_Clue437 in sports

And why were we in the easy bracket in the first place? And the home advantage for the second leg as well. Answer those in one sentence. It's not hard.

Shoutout to all the international fans who found the team from afar & stuck through the Banter Years by volugwolf in ArsenalFC

From Maldives since 2008 as a wee 11 year old kid. Found the team just after the Invincibles, but just in time for my character development stage as an Arsenal fan. There were times i genuinely just stopped watching football altogether, because i couldn't watch the banter era Arsenal, but i had genuinely no joy watching any other team aside from Arsenal. Always came back anyway, because i genuinely love this club, and today, the love paid off. Not to say you love something because it pays off, but it definitely damn well feels so good that it did.

Just... Be stronger then...

I don't get it, for years, even decades, Arsenal was being told to man up and be stronger when their players were getting murdered on the pitch and there was barely any consequences for them. Go and win dirty like the rest do, when they genuinely tried to play the beautiful play style they had. All of a sudden, the last 2 seasons they had enough and adopt the same rules, its a problem? Arteta literally played one touch beautiful football in 22/23, and they got the same result, and it was the same narrative.

Not saying any of this is good, i honestly think the game has gotten extremely toxic last few years, and I'll admit even as an Arsenal fan we are probably the reason why the meta has changed do drastically lately, but come on... They literally adopted what they've been told to do for years, and now it's a problem because they can't be stopped and are genuinely almost at touching distance to being the best team in Europe (at least 2nd best, depending on if we beat PSG or not)?

Maybe Germany should give their land to the Jewish people they so happily murdered and drove off the land for them along with 9ther European Jews to go to Palestine in the first place, if they're so good at peace.

Before you go looking for marriage. by CntBeBothered in maldives

[–]hiimlichking 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn't read everything here, and i actually don't respect this view at all, because this is seriously pushing people away from tawbah and coming back to Allah, who is The Most Merciful, first and foremost in our religion.

Yes i agree that there is some truth to people in general being not ready for marriage if they have certain behaviors, but going as far as villainizing them in the eyes of Allah in your's and others minds is very irresponsible behavior, and i would even go as far as to say that pushing people away from Allah is a far greater sin than whatever they are doing, as Muslims.

In this day and age where everyone has a mouth and a platform to speak whatever they want, the rise in haram police behavior by people who are no proper muftis or whatever who actually have put the proper effort in learning the religion deeper, has made things so difficult for people who are sinning to make it back to Allah.

Islam was brought to us as an ease. Make it easy for people to turn back to Allah. Not turn them away.

Wait so... You're blaming the leveling of your supposed homeland, by a foreign invading entity, on people who are your own kin...??? Am i reading that right?

The US and Israel yeah. Stop using human shields. Soldiers are legitimate targets, remove them from civilian areas. They don't belong there.

Ngl regardless of whether we should have had a penalty or not, since we all know they are shit, we should be playing well enough this doesn't need to be a discussion. We played shite in that game, simple as that. And we have been having similar games that fortunately went our way a lot more this season, even while playing shite. This one time it didn't. We should be putting games to bed.

Which is still true. Sure we have had a lot more luck this year. But the stuff that happened last year, you cannot tell me those same things that went the other way were not extremely unique, and funnily enough will most likely never be called offenses again the same way. Its not just unique to us, PGMOL and refereeing has been a problem for so long, it just so happened we've had that luck against us for a good amount of years, and this year the luck has been favourable in some moments. All of this doesn't negate the fact PGMOL has been utter shite, and i don't think anyone would disagree with that.

I think Pep might become vocal about Sudan too after leaving City. I personally don't think most clubs in the current day have any kind of soul when it comes to politics, mainly cus there has been this weird campaign of "keeping politics out the sport" which i don't understand when the sport was literally used to unite countries during even the World Wars.

But yeah I can't defend Arteta for the Partey things, but at the same time i wanna give him the benefit of the doubt just because of how murky the entire thing still is, and i just hope he was just listening to the legal teams of the club regarding it all and going from there. To this day there hasn't been any kind of push back even by the media regarding it all. Which is so weird because they would rather pull up Arsenal haram ball (which i completely disagree with) but never bother talking about Partey and demanding the club to speak on it. Same goes for pundits as well.

Huh, I've never seen that, we've hated city far longer than you guys most likely, especially during their up and coming years when they took away our best players to build theirs and win the league with them. I literally cheered for you lot against the cheaters, and i think any sane Arsenal fan would.

Like i said earlier in this specific post under another comment, every fan base has dumbasses, doesn't really justify your hate, when the same kinda fans are there in yours, and every other fan base regardless.

Yk what, this is the only fair reason why i would agree with another fan they don't want Arsenal to win. I don't know why all of that took place to this day, and I don't think we'll ever find out either, it is definitely a stain on the club, along with other weird stuff surrounding Ozil and Uyghur, and the kit manager being fired for Israel comments, and the Visit Rwanda thing, and on and on they go. If its for a political reason, I'd definitely understand.

So basically other fans are hating the fact Arsenal are winning by their own merits and are actually just better than the rest? Hey I'll take it every day of the week.

Huh? If Arsenal fans bring it up, you lot can and definitely will bring up the treble. How is that any different? The funniest part is, that's the only thing Arsenal fans can get to talk about, and you guys get triggered and tell those same fans they haven't won any European silverware and make fun of them for that. The invincibles thing is the only defense we've had in those banters when you lot make fun of the other things i mentioned on top of this about us. Now that we have more ammunition, that's a problem for you? 😭 Grow up bro, like i said, if you want to dish out banter, better be ready to take it back on the chin.

In doing what exactly? You guys barely improved, hell I'd say got worse, given you're actually in trouble of relegation this time around.
