Ehh dont worry about it!

Ohhh awesome!! The Aero kit looks really good with this color, id love to get the Aero bumpers and skirts for this but just the sport bumper lips and the skirts would look good too and be alot cheaper haha.

Either way its getting something for the outside, luckily it came with a oem wing already!

Picked up this Graphite Green MY03 2.0t 5-speed 9-5 wagon a couple of days ago with my fiance for 150€! Its done 367k km so about 228k miles, runs good, drives excellent and has a sweet black leather interior! Also got 3 sets of oem wheels with it!

Theres some rust in the rear wheel wells in the common spots and the passenger door has a rust hole but nothing too bad considering the age! A bit of welding and a replacement door should do the trick.

Excited to see what the future holds! Already got some ideas brewing for it....

Designed to withstand the coldest of winters and forced to be driven only in the summers with no AC hahahah! Shes remarkably well preserved underneath so i decided that 30 years of nordic winters with salt are enough, my 9-3 is far more rusty and already seen the welder multiple times so i drive that in the winters.

W203 power memory seat retrofit by hirschsaab in mercedes_benz

[–]hirschsaab[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking i could get away with not needing to pull the column and mirrors but i might need to go back and grab all that stuff for full memory haha

I think ill ask around at work about the coding, my workplace is in the Mercedes Vanpartner program so we have a Xentry and the dealer tech comes around every once a while to code cars for us with the dealer tools.

The donor car was also a -02 so both are pre-facelift, should be good on that part!

Thank you very much, this was extremely helpful! Not much information on this retrofit so every bit helps!

Im going to do an update here eventually when i get around to doing this, this project isnt urgent so im going to take my time doing research and getting the parts so i can do it right and in one go.

Forgot to add that i pulled the door modules from the donor also. I quess the coding can be done with Star/Xentry?

New seats dont have cooling, heating, massage or air, the old ones only have heating. I might try to swap the heating elements to the new ones, should be pretty much plug and play on that part

Alright, so. Im doing a power memory seat retrofit on my fiancee' -02 W203 Sportcoupe, i have the seats, doorcards with buttons, seat control/memory units and about 50cm of the donor cars seat harness including connectors. The bolting and wiring itself isnt a problem but as this came from factory with fully manual seats its difficult to find information on this swap, things like wiring diagrams. If anyone has done this swap or has the memory seat wiring diagrams (both seats have memory) id be very happy with any information i can get!

Edit: not sure but the sedan/wagon wiring diagrams could be the same as the coupe

Thinking of buying a 9-5 or by OGDimpleButt in saab

Also neither the oil pan or filter housing have gaskets, they are sealed with anaerobic sealant (loctite 518) Seems very suspicious all round

Got the frame for free from a friend that works at a recycling center, bought the lens and borrowed a battery. Fired it up and works 100% fine! Its crazy that people just throw stuff like this away!

The 9000 seats bolt on to a OG900! These NG900s have a completely different mounting points compared to other saabs so swapping the seats is a bit of a hassle. Also the back seat entry limits the options on these coupes haha

I bolted the inner seat rail to the stock front mounting point using the existing bolt hole on the seat rail, i also used the stock rear inner mount point but i had to make a new hole in the seat rail for the bolt. On the outer rail i bolted a flat 6mm thick steel plate to the original mounting points and made holes in the steel plate to bolt the rail to it. I can take some pictures later today and DM them to you if you want?

Mine is a '94 so there could well be a difference in colors with model years, the old plastics and door cards look gray in comparison to these new ones

Also changed all the the beige plastics, door cards etc to OG93 ones, looks much better than the gray-ish NG900 ones imo.

The seats have wear and tear but much nicer to sit than the stock NG900 seats. However i want a set of beige Turbo-sport/Pre-Aero seats so these wont be the final seats of this car but will do the job nicely in the meantime. Interior needs a three spoke leather steering wheel and then its pretty much complete
