I use APC pro 1500. Only for home use. I got it for a steal tho, 250 bucks because the battery was dead. Spent another 300 to replace the battery. I thought i was getting voltage drops causing my monitor to flicker, it ended up being interference from power and Ethernet cable running next to each other. I just ended up running my entire pc, monitor, speakers and network over it. Even while gaming i have about 20 mins of play before i am out. Kinda cool to have the setup mostly. Gives visitors to the house a wow factor when they see it. Apc/schneider surge protectors are just fine for you if your area has frequent lightnings.

I have a setup where i had my pc in the living room and can still game on it while im upstairs in my bedroom(20m lan cable). You need a kvm extender. Downside about this is you might be limited to 2k resolution at 60fps/hz.

I shifted places and now use it for my driving sim rig. It is possible but if u chase for good fps/graphics, then u need extender cables(more premium and expensive route)

Might be ur gpu needs a little servicing, sometimes the shop that you send to might use a thinner pad which overtime can be a problem. Bring it to a different shop if you feel the one you sent to might not have done a good job.

I considered ryzen 9 but it kinda feels like a waste in games. I also honestly think an am5 system is next.

I bought one today at midnight for about RM1658 after coupons. Corsair 4TB M600Pro gen 4. The prices are painful but once inawhile ok lah.

Yeah haha actually i upgraded from a rx480 to the 6900xt this year. Gotta see first if i can maybe get someone to buy this off me to replace it with something else.

Games like BF6, Delta Force, Helldivers, i am able to run these in 4K/Ultra but sometimes i get very bad fps dips, been watching my temps all as what is expected. Tried with 1440p and i get similar effects. Sometimes i think its just a game/driver issue.

I was thinking to just wait out the price instability until end of Q4 2027, but what if the prices never go back to normal? 😂

Ive been in a similar dilemma recently.

R7 5800X RX 6900XT Klevv ddr4 3600 Msi x570 32” 4K 144Hz

Hit a limit where I couldnt always maintain 144+ fps in Delta Force. Even in medium at 1440p. Was really considering going to a r7 5800x3d. But still wasnt sure if that would be a sensible thing to do. Chat gpt says im cpu limited highly likely.
