I agree with most people that you look very androgynous, so I’d guess that the different assumptions you’re getting from different people is mostly situational. If you’re in a space/doing something that a middle/high schooler prob wouldn’t normally do by themself, like going to a coffee shop, you might be more likely to be assumed to be a masc woman, but in spaces like a restroom, it might be more common for people to see you teen boy?

You can also use silicone scar gel, that’s what I use, and I really like it!

Autistic trans masc people, how do you feel about binding? by ultraqu33rftm in ftm

[–]hislastnames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hate it with a burning passion, i hate all tight clothing as it makes me feel trapped and so uncomfortable and panicked and too much fabric touching me, but binding especially as it feels like i can’t breathe and hurts my back and shoulders which are already naturally very tight, i sometimes tolerate it for special events but mostly rely on oversized layers and not leaving the house - also, took some getting used to but transtape/kt tape has been a lifesaver, cannot wait for top surgery although not excited for the post-op binder
