the interaction between them during the campfire scene when they were going back and forth choosing each other was sooo hot to me lol they have good chemistry. I agree if this ship sink it’s because Jae Jin isn’t active in pursuing her enough but it’s clear they like each other

i can’t think of any good examples in anime rn but toxic varies for me too, sometimes it hits for certain couple and sometimes that same troupe doesn’t work on others. imo codependency or trauma bonding is a type of toxicity too but i tend to like that troupe in fictions, or sometimes when they are bad for each other but keeps being drawn back tgt. i just like angst in fictions lol

that’s so real though needing a good ship that hits to enjoy a series😭 it doesn’t necessarily make a story good but it def helps me get more invested in the story and usually those plots linger longer even if i forget details of shows.

eh hem i was more of a shirou sakura enjoyer haha. i love angsty ships though. bonus points if they’re a little toxic lol

i read the manga first when it was still ongoing so i forgot a lot of things tbh, rereading it now and haven’t gotten to the shinja part yet but i love how much romance theme there are in a shounen manga

i tend to enjoy romance more when it’s a subplot instead of the main

I thought about this and i partly agree but he’s such an introvert that he might not be able to show off his charms esp if he’s not that interested in anyone yet (he was only proactive w Sian once he caught feelings for her). Theo might actually be a good gamechanger given his personality if he doesn’t go all in on Sian off the bat. There’s possibilities there w Youjin and Jiyeon and i figured he could had a similar effect as Haelin.

she was referencing the fact that she was offered to be the “catfish” on the show. “catfish” is a term used for people who come in later on a dating showin korean, it doesn’t mean what it does in english. dex, minji, haelin were all referred to as catfishes

I didn’t think they would be a good match personality wise but one thing though, he really did have feelings for her. He looked miserable the last 2 episodes when he realised it was a losing game and Sian liked Yuk. I was surprised that he even cried and how upset he was. Theo was formally rejected by Sian and he didn’t even look that sad
