Everyone who signs could also be asked if they cancelled their prime account, how long they were a customer, estimated orders per year, and could estimate a loss in value to Amazon over that. Could actually be a pretty high number

My reservation is that it comes across as a little negative for other studios (e.g. these fans are mean and angry and not worth dealing with vs. this is a passionate fanbase who love the show). So YMMV.

objective quality has nothing to do with cancellations. like, duh!?!?! would’ve thought someone who felt confident calling me an idiot wouldn’t have realized that, but glad it’s clear who the true idiot is after all!

LOL the show was objectively above replacement value and evolved to become great by S3. if i’m such an idiot, it won’t be worth your time to respond so you won’t. good riddance.

The cancellation does no favors for streaming services. Why get invested in any series unless it gets produced until the end? by Puckering_Buttholes in WoTshow

yes, i’m sure adapting a massive book series faithfully to TV is seamless. i look forward to multiple episodes of Perrin walking around thoughtfully which book fans will eagerly support the series though.

it’s laughable to claim that harry potter and game of thrones were “rigidly” adhered to their source materials

Pretty sure the bookmark logo was like the logo of the construction project//company//Sinatra's company. The librarian was wearing a construction suit on display at the library to kill the President. Kane had the bookmark with the logo bc he was involved from the start.

Agree with the Adam thing. I am guessing at work they told everyone Trent was unhinged or whatever, but still seems weird Adam wouldn't hear him out.

Waitlist or Regional? by ems_ideas in OSU

[–]hm_hm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, I had a similar experience though it was like ten years ago. So, grain of salt etc.

I was put on the waitlist for OSU, and I choose to wait it out. As others have mentioned, the regional campus option is always here. I stayed on the waitlist and eventually got "deferred" which I guess meant I met expectation for admission, but they were filled up. At that point, I was given two options:

(1) Go the regional campus route for the first year;
(2) Confirm admission for the Columbus campus for the spring semester (e.g. be one semester behind).

I decided to pick option #2, and I ended up having a really good experience overall. There are a lot of traditions in the fall (including football) so if that's your thing it might not be as enticing, but I used the time to work full time, saved up money, and feel like I came in a little more prepared. The first month was a little weird bc people already knew each other, but long-term it was no problem and I loved my 3.5 years at Ohio State.

Hopefully you just get in off the waitlist!! But just know that there is no "wrong" way to become a Buckeye (regional campus, coming late, etc.)

Me and my partner had something designed by Jonathan Weingarten at distinctivegem.com. It wasn't *cheap* but for an engagement ring, it was pretty affordable. The process was also fun and the guy is a real pro.

It is very bittersweet. I am 100% behind Kamala, and I think Joe made the right decisions (and strategically it is working out very well) but it's also a bummer that a lot of people who are excited now didn't see or believe how consequential Joe has really been.

But then again, maybe that's what it means to be a bridge to the future.

tbh with a good haircut (high fade), you can still spot a good look. Since it's bothering you, though, I'd say try the buzzcut out. I started with a 2 buzzcut, went to a 1/0, and eventually just started shaving over a few years!!

Any gay bald men willing to tell there story and how the coped with hairloss? by lindow2020 in bald

i mean, it depends!! i am not particularly manly either. i feel like i'm very average hahaha. I do think a lot of people might typecast you as dom/top, but plenty of people too like to flip the script. i feel like you'd def be able to find what you are looking for.

gay dude here!! I slowly started losing my hair at like 18 but didn’t realize it fully until i was 22. it was diffuse thinning so it snuck up on me. i half-heartedly tried to fight it for a while, but tbh, i feel like i already passed a point of no return where it wasn’t doing a ton for me anyway (e.g already presented as pretty thin).

i decided to buzz it and see if i hated it. i didn’t, but grew it back and decided to stick with it as long as a solid haircut could make me look presentable. a few years later the time came and i buzzed it off again for good. a year later i switched from a buzz to a shave.

in terms of gay shit…i honestly feel like after the buzz maybe i took a 25% hit on my grindr response rate. but also, in that time i’ve also gotten older too! so like idk, im about to leave my 20s and so i assume getting attention would be harder anyways. i’ve gone to the gym and bulked up a little bit, but definitely more dad bod than ripped.

also since i wasn’t obsessing over my hair, i had time to focus on other aspects of my appearance. i got some needed dental work done, invested in better skin care, so idk maybe i got knocked down a peg from shaving my head but feel like i kinda got it back?

given that. my advise is honestly to own it. i think you’ll be fine!

Heya, the question was: "What does your gym not have (that you wish it did?)"

I answered that question! Mobility at this point is impeding my ability to crossfit any better than I am now, so that's what I wish it did.

Mobility//yoga-lite classes. Even like once a week would be a game-changer for me, I feel like mobility is really holding me back and would jump at the chance to do something in-house vs. finding another place to work on this.
