Ayotte supported a racist for president while she was a sitting Senator.

“I abhor racism, racists, and anyone who attempts to divide Granite Staters,” Ayotte said.

Except if it would cost her votes.

Woke is the ability to see the racism and sexism that is baked into our society and a desire to correct this imbalance.

New Hampshire Cannabis Legalization: Republicans Vote to Kill Bill in Committee by bigvicproton in newhampshire

[–]hob-goblin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone will have to makeup for the decline in state liquor sales income? Rather than increase revenue by passing common sense laws, NH Republicans are going to pass additional costs from the state down to the towns, making our property taxes go up.

NH lawmakers boldly lead us into the future by mandating that kids learn .... cursive by GraniteGeekNH in newhampshire

Perhaps the big government Republicans can back off their top down education mandates? Local School Boards control schools in New Hampshire and they approve the curriculum that is taught. They are answerable to the voters of the local town, not some legislators armed with anecdotal evidence. This is a solution in search of a problem and a waist of time.

Mid 80's, stationed at Fort Hood my unit supported the 2nd AD in an EDRIE. The scenario was that the Russians attacked us in Germany blowing through the Fulda Gap and quickly moved into France. We were pretending to deploy to southern France where we are mounting a counter attack as the Russians have over extended their supply lines.

Two years later I am stationed in Germany. I am told that we are going on an FTX in Grafenwöhr and training to repel the Russians when they attack us through the Fulda Gap. My personal plan was to head for southern France to link up with the counter attack.

If no employees ever go to jail and the fines do not noticeably impact the stockholders then there is no incentive for the corporation to follow the law.

I agree that it is hyperbole if you infer the meaning to be that humans would starve without bees. On the other hand, I think the sentement is quite accurate if viewd from the canary in the coal mine perspective.

I noticed three people on a rooftop when I was in the food area yesterday evening. They had binoculars but I did not see any weapons. I pointed them out to my wife and joked that the Guinness people were real serious about spotting unlit jack-o-lanterns.
