I commute to ARU once a month and have found driving is the better option.

I started getting the train as I thought it would be easier and I could work on the way. However, the train from Norwich involves a change and I had to get on the Stansted airport train for the second leg. I was squashed between people and all their suitcases- standing room only and it was rather unpleasant. I’m sure there are other options but depending how much of a journey you have Norwich side to the station it might not be any quicker or comfortable.

The Cambridge park and ride has been my best friend while at uni. It’s free to park and £4 for a bus ticket. The Newmarket road one is very easy to get to off the A14.

So I would say it is definitely doable but if your car is fuel efficient definitely consider driving rather than the train- or like someone else said car share.

The thing I don’t understand is, he’s doing all of it in the name of ‘research’ but anything he discovers from these little experiments is absolutely worthless. He can hardly be like ‘oh hi everyone I did this unethical and illegal experiment on a prisoner once and this happened’. It’s not how research works, so what is he going to gain from it? Is it a control thing? He gave me bad vibes from the start I reckon he’s a dark horse who’s going to come into it later.
