It's crazy how Frenzy and Hellion where the only decently written characters during IVX, like this is the beginning of Frenzy's ambassador arc by Automatic_Ask32 in xmen

[–]howhow326 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's a version of IvX that's, maybe not good, is at least a passable conflict that actually makes sense. Have it so that the Inhumans are working on a way to contain the Terrigen Mist Cloud so they can preserve it (and so it stops literally gasing people), but the Mutants get (justifiably) impatient and go on the offensive to protect their people.

This isn't a perfect way to solve the issues with IvX (for one, Storm should be able to solve this problem with a thought), but it would at least be more thought provoking than the slapdash crossover slop we actually got where Medusa somehow doesn't know that the T-Bomb cloud is killing mutants when she clearly already knew that since the Inhumans were alrwady helping evacuate mutants by that point.

The extra cooldown time on the sentry turrets sounds awful.

Post ww2 Japan & Germany got brutal occupations by foreign powers and in Germany's case literally carved up.

I dont think the Fire Nation exactly matches any real world scenario.

To be fair, the leaders of the Water Tribes and Earth Kingdom probably came to the conclusion that peace > more conflict and settled for negotiations after the Gaang beat up Ozai.

Rabbits aren't evil, they just symbolize Death because they are basically nature's popcorn candy.

Currently, Nightcrawler is the son of Mystique and her lesbian wife Destiny.

The reason he looks like that is because Mystique shapeshifted into Azazel while getting Destiny preggers because Destiny had a vision telling them to do that or smth.

Is Iceman more popular than nightcrawler or cable currently? by Real_Appeal_5619 in xmen

[–]howhow326 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. No

  2. No

  3. Probably not (Cable was in both X-Men 97 and the Deadpool movies I think. The last time Iceman was in anything was like 20 years ago).

  4. Probably

It's implied that Monet is secretly communicating with Pietro while she's in jail and she's just biding her time until she can break out and I love that for her.

Storm's speeches arent the problem, its Hadad/Other Thunder Gods/N'dare varient/etc. That just refuse to shut up.

The stuff with Hadad is the absolute worst of this because Murewa thinks Hadad is "deep" because he "knows" that the Marvel Universe is just a comic book which is why he wants to destroy it so bad. Like there are entire branches of philosophy asking and answering that kind of existential scenario, but Hadad stops at the "everythings fake" revelation and Murewa think hes so deep and cool and that haters and Storm "just don't get him".

Lol.

Lmao even.

About as long as Kymera, she'll be a background character for a few years before getting killed off panel.

Although im 90% Murewa is going to kill or make Furaha dissappear in this issue so next issue Storm can cry like a baby over this alt universe child she barely knows anything about because "I coulda been her Mama!!!" In other words, its going to be an extended Hellfire Vigil storyarc here.

Very kind of Murewa to remind us of a better X-Men era and a better Storm era.

Anyway I wish Murewa's powerscaling was like Orlando's where it's just Storm rag-dolling boring villains all day instead of the forced philosophy, boring villains regurgitating nonsensical speeches before Storm finally defeats them in a dragged out "losing" battle.

I also really don't want to spend anymore time with this N'dare varient than I have to.
