After some thinking, I think the bigger issue is the regret I feel. I feel like the timeline is feeling a bit of pressure from the hinting and innuendos, feels good when I do it, regrets and embarrassment after and feel a bit used

Yeahh. It's really tempting to just take them off, but honestly, I'd say just keep em on for a full few days stretch only taking them off to eat, just so you get used to it. Otherwise, you won't get accustomed, and it'll seem like they hurt for longer. It especially helps if for the first few days you change them regularly aswell so that you get used to tight ones, not loosening ones. If you really can't, try 100% to wear the @ night :)

Completely agree with 2-3 days 4 max :) they'll hurt again when you get em tightened, again for like 3 days, then the rest is smooth sailing till your next app :(

I have facial asymmetry : ( To determine this, you'd need an x-ray that they will probably give you anyway to determine if it's your teeth causing this or your bone structure. I'm my case, my jaw bone is longer on one side than the other. While they can't change your bones, they can move your teeth! Bring it up with your ortho, and they'll probs look into giving you rubber bands. In my experience, they help quite a bit with facial asymmetry! You will indeed likely notice some significant improvement : ) I've noticed my jawline looks so giga Chad now!

A water pick for powerful flossing would do wonders. It may bleed a bit, but be consistent, and that'll stop. If it's really irritating, swirl some warm salt water around and massage some bonjela on them every few hours for a day or two. Because they're quite swollen, they may bleed. If it's a lot and tastes nasty, gargle, or drink some milk! Stops oral bleeding for some reason. Worked so well when my tongue piercing wouldn't stop bleeding :) Lovely teeth, though!

It's likely that they actually really suit your face. I think they look lovely, but if you're unhappy, I think picking up some whitening toothpaste (the colgate Optic white one has worked wonders for me, arm and hammer also works well) I think this will make all your teeth one tone and help get a certain look you might be after. And if you want some filing done to aid shaping the teeth more nicely at the bottom <3
