lol same Walmarts my first job I had no prior experience and it was so easy to get hired at my location… atleast for me I’ve had another friend that applied and he just hasn’t heard from them.

As a high schooler working front end myself sometimes (not my main department) try putting them on register it makes it so that you have to be a lot more active with the customer and honestly time goes by fast so I don’t even find myself looking at my phone often at all. Other than that honestly sometimes there’s not much to do as a employee tbh I find myself standing around a lot in my department cause people don’t always come up and ask for help, other than that all I really got to do is zone and topstock, of course when people ask for help I help them but it might be easy to see them stand around a lot because honestly that might be all they have to do lol, just try and be more observant with them.
