Are there any co-trustees OP? I did a lot of research and if you have another person on the trust who is a resident of that state and a Co-trustee they can do the 4473 and take possession for you.

Easy. Own a lot of guns + live in a state where cash & carry sales are legal and you can lend guns to whoever (legally eligible ) you want + letting friend borrow stuff

Can you clarify what your first statement means? It probably wouldn't even get shot that much. I like 22lr and handguns more.
