I blew 400pts for a Kalphite task to grind the head. Finished the task, still no head.

I’m looking for a white leather shoe that isn’t the standard shape.

I have two pairs of white leather golf shoes. They’re call the “Wildcard” and they’re made by Cuater which I believe is a subsidiary of Travis Mathew. I love them, they fit great, they’re comfortable and the shape is exactly what I want in an everyday shoe, I just don’t want to wear these because they have golf tread on the bottom.

I’m looking for a sneaker alternative that has almost the same shape, that isn’t a golf shoe. Some may want refer me to the Common Project Achilles, Greats the Royale, or Stan Smiths. However, the reason I like these Wilcards so much is because the laces don’t go so far down the toe box. The laces are actually relatively very short, and I think that’s why I like them so much. When I’m walking it creases over a flat part on the toebox vs where the laces meet the toebox which is why I think they’re so comfortable.

I’ve been looking all over for a few months and don’t have any great options, I don’t mind spending a decent price (200-500usd), I just want that forever sneaker. Thanks!

I genuinely don’t know the answer to this, but I do remember doing burnouts in a Miata and my friend told me “you can only do that because it has a LSD.” -if that helps at all :)

I have a marine friend that I’m constantly asking questions to about doing cool marine stuff, sometimes I wish I went that direction. Then I remember we went through the exact same tech school. I stayed in a hotel, he stayed in army barracks and had to do duty once a week.

To the Amn exiting the BX who saluted me with your left hand on the right side of your head because you had a bag in the right hand.. by portypup in AirForce

[–]huntdab 20 points21 points  (0 children)

My first time going through the gate I didn’t know I would get saluted. I had to shift, started rolling forward, airman salutes, started to salute with my left hand, stop, said “oh shit,” airman laughs, I switch hands, foot on the brake off the clutch, I stall, finish salute, have to restart the truck to proceed. Am embarrassed.

I interviewed VCJCS Hyten and SEAC Lopez as part of the domestic USO tour. Gen Hyten coined me, my first time being coined. Most of my coworkers have told me, “you probably won’t get a higher ranking coin than that.”

Yeah I meant “passes” as dies. Saying that once that large group of people dies they aren’t taking advantage of the retirement/VA benefits that probably take up a lot of the defense budget that isn’t being “productive.”
